Two of the band’s members, Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson, were born in Lexington. Littrell grew up in Lexington and graduated from Tates Creek High School, while his cousin, Richardson, lived in Harrodsburg before moving to Irvine and graduating from Estill County High School.

It’s the band’s first album since 2013 when they released “In a World Like This.” Since then, they’ve released a documentary in 2015 (“Show ‘Em What You’re Made Of”) and their song, “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart,” became their 18th song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The group released a new single, “Chances” on Friday that’s co-written by Shawn Mendes and One Republic’s Ryan Tedder

The band has been performing for the past two and a half years in Las Vegas for its “Larger Than Life” residency.
